“On a Polar expedition begin with a clear idea which Pole you are aiming at, and try to start facing the right way. Choose your companions carefully - you may have to eat them.”
~ W. C. Sellar
A good friend of ours produced this amazing show, Polar, which premiered in Liverpool last year. In this video, Andrew describes what to expect from Polar and how it was made, followed by a short trailer of footage from the show itself.
Essentially, it’s “a cinematic portrait of our polar kingdoms with a unique live orchestral soundtrack”. If you love cinematography, nature, music and generally being in awe of the planet we live on, you need to see this!
Polar will be shown as part of the Manchester Science Festival, on Sunday 23rd October (3pm, and 7pm) at RNCM, Oxford Rd. Buy your tickets HERE.
Polar then tours to Dublin, National Concert Hall ~ Dec 11th, and Birmingham, Birmingham Symphony Hall ~ Dec 21st. More details HERE.
